Organizing Information
Information is useful only if you can locate it when needed. It is important to be able to identify your files; locations and navigate to them as needed. Additionally, understanding the purpose of a Windows file extension will help you identify the type of file you are tying to open and help you identify compatible software to download or purchase that will open the file if non is installed on your computer
