You will be working on your final Photography project for the remainder of the semester. You will have 15 in class days (may be shortened if there is a snow day) to work on this project with 2 days to present (Monday, December 20 & Tuesday, December 21). If you will be gone at the end of the semester on a vacation/out of town, you will need to talk to me and adjust the dates accordingly. You will need to present to receive a grade on this project. I have attached a DETAILED rubric and instruction sheet below. In a nutshell, you will need the following:
- A Weebly Website for your business. You are a business owner focusing on ONE type of photography.
- You will need 300 PHOTOS TOTAL on your website.
- Creative Portfolio: 150/300 will be photos that you have taken already this semester. You will separate them by project on your website
- Professional Portfolio: 150/300 will be photos of your specialty. Example: You have specialized in Macro photography. You can use 50 Macro photos that you have already taken this semester, but will need to take a minimum of 100 PERFECT new photos. You cannot use the Macro photos in your Creative Portfolio & in your Professional Portfolio.
- All photos must be "perfectly edited, professional looking" to receive full credit. If you need to take photos numerous times and edit them, please do.
- Use the examples that you viewed at the beginning of the year. There are many examples of what to do and what not to do.
- You will receive participation points. These points include staying on task, leaving your phone in the phone caddy and working on this project.
