Today we will begin our final project which is due next Friday, December 18 at the end of the day. We will be filming the middle school/high school concert on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 15 & 16 so please take this into account when counting work days. After viewing the information and step by step tutorial, you will turn in your practice version and then create your own 1+ character cartoon. We will discuss timing when you are done with the tutorial. Time will most likely be between 2-2.5 minutes. You will use multiple Adobe programs while completing this tutorial.

After finishing up the Intro videos, complete the assignment below:
Watch the video below. A lot of the info is reiterated from what you already know but I would like you to use the background and apple graphics below as we do not have the Adobe Stock files like they use. Basically, the apple should travel and change sizes as it goes up and down the hill. Make sure to have him do 3-5 flips. The size of the apple should change as he "rides" the hills.

Today you will learn how to combine photo and text and start re-creating 3 ads of your choice!
First, watch the video below and submit the "Photo Into Text" Assignment into Classroom. Use a photo of your choice and for the text- use your name. The photo can be something that describes/interests you.
When you're done, find 3 ads that interest you and re-create these ads to the best of your ability. Please use the InDesign Skills you've learned (word wrap, using shapes, lines, photo into text) and possibly incorporate Adobe Draw if you'd like. You will create 3 documents - on each document, include the ad you are recreating and the ad you created. Submit to Classroom as an .INDD file AND a PDF to view as a print ad.
