Photoshop: Project 1
Due Date: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26 @ 3:15
View TWO of the videos below. BEFORE watching the videos, follow the link to download the materials used in the video (either included in the information below the video or find photos from the internet that are similar. Save the tutorial file as PS_P2-1 and PS_P2-2. After completing the tutorials, you will create your own using a photo of yourself and something you're interested in. Example: the Eiffel tower, the ocean, a forest scene. The photo you use must be JUST of you. (a selfie, a school picture, etc.). It needs to be PERFECT so if you crop yourself out of a photo, be careful with the quality and pixelation. Save this document as PS_P2 Self.

Photoshop 1
There are 2 videos approx. 30 minutes each. By the end of the day today  please complete:

1. Watch the first video titled Photoshop Beginner. Before you begin this video please note: we do not have access to Creative Cloud or Lightroom which are mentioned at the beginning and throughout the video. I have provided you with a similar sample photo of a boat. You can download your own similar photo if you'd like. Our version of Photoshop is Photoshop CC 2017 so when the video explains how you can hover over the buttons, our version will not do the same thing that is shown for the first time around 3:30. The tools are the same, the hover feature is not.

2. Watch the second video titled Layers and Masking (enjoy the presenter's Austraillian accent :) ). He does a great job of explaining the different layers and masking options.

3. With the remaining 30 minutes approximately, I want you to edit a photo (from the internet or one you have taken) and mess around with the tools and settings you just learned about. You can do this WHILE you watch your videos too, not just when they are done.

4. Upload to classroom
