Week 3 Learn From Home Assignments
Week of March 30-April 2 Due Date: Thursday, April 2 @ 10pm
Hi guys!!
I'm so proud of you! You're doing a great job keeping up with everything, asking questions, and keeping in contact with me! After this week's assignment, we will be starting a new, creative project! I have 2 more topics I want to cover using Google Sheets which include formatting a balance sheet and using the Sparkline function. These assignments are very similar. The car banner photo that is needed for the Capturing Data Trends assignment is below the link for the assignments. Use the pinkish-red links below the assignment title to view the directions to each assignment. When I went these assignments, I didn't have any issues. Please let me know if you do! I know some of the tabs are different based on which version you have. Everything is there - it's just a matter of where! You will use the information given to you and fill in and use the info to create a graphic (when asked). Please note the Due Date change for this week as we were previously scheduled to not have school on Friday, April 3 - this week's deadline is Thursday, April 2 at 10PM! I don't want you working on assignments as this was a scheduled day off. Enjoy a long weekend if you can!

In this lesson, you will learn how to:
- Create a custom function that calculates a running balance
- Data validation in the form of drop down lists and date pickers
- Create a pie chart to display money spent by category
- Create a line chart to display Bank balance trends over time

Capturing Data Trends
In this lesson, you will learn how to:
- Use the "SPARKLINE" function to display sales trends visually for each salesperson
- Remove the gridlines from the Sheet to give it a cleaner look
- Insert an image to serve as a banner above the table.
