Week 4 Learn From Home Assignments
Week of April 6-April 9 Due Date: Thursday, April 9 @ 10pm *Good Friday on Friday
This week you will begin creating a video!! FINALLY! I'm so bummed we didn't get started earlier and the way I had planned, however, together as a class we came up with some good ideas in our Zoom last week! This week's assignment is to create a dramatic Vlog about Covid-19: from the inside! I have attached a document with the requirements as well as the grading information. This video is worth 65 points(!) and there is an opportunity to earn 10 extra credit points. This video WILL take some planning. Today is Sunday and I know not everyone checks their email/this website/classroom on non-school days so I'm hoping everyone can get started tomorrow! Please read the requirements as there is a 4 sequence requirement (1 per day or however you want to break it down - I strongly recommend not doing all 4 sequences in 1 day - it will make a lot of extra work for you). We didn't get to talk about expectations requirements in a classroom setting, so it is crucial that you email me with any questions or confusion prior to you turning your assignment in. I am available to questions and will respond as soon as I can - please don't wait until after the due date as I will not be able to change any grades if you don't let me know what you need help with!
VLOG DUE DATE: Thursday, April 9 @ 10pm. FRIDAY IS EASTER MONDAY. I DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO WORK ON SCHOOL WORK ON A SCHEDULED DAY OFF. I AM POSTING THIS EARLY SUNDAY AFTERNOON IN HOPES YOU ARE ABLE TO START RIGHT AWAY MONDAY ON PLANNING!
WEEKLY COMMUNICATION: after going through the surveys of all students, I have decided to let you make the decision of how we communicate THIS WEEK. Please email me by Tuesday morning at 11 to let me know which option you will be utilizing. You will have 2 options:
1. Weekly Zoom (graded): Tuesday at 1:15pm
2. Weekly email (graded - how things went for you for the week, etc.) NO LATER THAN 5pm on FRIDAY, April 10. The deadline for emails will always be Friday at 5 regardless if we have school or not. If the email is not received by Friday at 5, you will not receive credit for weekly communication. I would LOVE to see all of you in a Zoom but understand work
schedules and whatever else you are doing during social distancing might get in the way.
I chose 1:15 hoping that everyone could be available and awake!
Any questions about ANYTHING?! Email me OR schedule a Zoom. Communication is key.
