Week 6 Learn From Home Assignments
Week of April 20-April 24 Due Date: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29 @ 5pm
Hey guys!! This week you will start the first part of a 2 part assignment!
You will be creating an About Me Website using Weebly! I'm not sure if you have used this website designing tool before, so I have created a tutorial for you to follow. The details of each page requirement is in the document below as well as the grade sheet. This project overall is worth 70 points. I wish we were together to do do this project. At the end of the week, copy and paste the link to a Google Doc and submit it in Classroom so I can check your progress and see how you're doing! The website itself needs to be COMPLETED by 5pm on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29.
I recorded this tutorial before the school calendar change. You do NOT have to do another presentation recording. Just complete the website by Wednesday, April 29!***NOTE THE DEADLINE DATE!
My sample site is: https://aboutmrspool.weebly.com/
ONE WORD OF ADVICE: PUBLISH CONSTANTLY!! FOR SOME REASON IF WEEBLY DOESN'T AUTO-SAVE, YOU WILL LOSE ANY CHANGES YOU HAVE MADE SINCE THE LAST TIME YOU PUBLISHED.
WEEK 6 COMMUNICATION: We will have a Zoom on Tuesday, April 28 at 10AM! This will be graded communication. I would like everyone to join. This Zoom is important as I will be answering any questions and possibly giving some tips and tricks to website creation.
I STRONGLY SUGGEST doing most of, if not all of your website this week so all you have to do next week is finish up and finalize details. I have included a SAMPLE daily breakdown so you are able to stay on track and juggle other classes as well. I noticed on the last assignment some waited until the last minute to begin. If you have a method of your own, go ahead and follow it, these are just guidelines. See below.
Assignment Recap:
Have fun with this! I can't wait to see your final products!
~Mrs. Pool
**I attached a Word description version as well as a PDF as some are having troubles opening up the Word Doc. I wanted to use the Doc as you can cross off and highlight as you complete. If you use the PDF version, you will have to keep track yourself.**
